Traffic Survey Cameras
Sixteen temporary CCTV cameras were erected on pavements in the Victoria Road area of New Barnet between 27th & 29th November 2008. The cameras were operated by Count On Us, commissioned by Colin Buchanan & Partners. They were not working for Barnet Council, and ASDA use a different traffic planning company, therefore it is almost certain they are working for Tesco.
We understand that the cameras were being used to record traffic and parking on Thursday 27th and Saturday 29th November.
We believe the cameras were probably connected with the third planning application for a Tesco Express at 7-11 Victoria Road.
